Spectators: 7651 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teoman Esay started the match with the kick off. Pekin Budak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selami İltekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pekin Budak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teoman Esay went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute Abdurrahman Neşet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pekin Budak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teoman Esay in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pekin Budak saved Yorgunsim from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Abdurrahman Neşet had to leave the field with a concussion. Lütfi Yalap's late challenge caught a Sürmene's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lütfi Yalap helped the player get up and apologised. Sürmene's Recep Okaner was substituted for Abdurrahman Neşet. A collision led to Yorgunsim getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Lütfi Yalap hit a great ball. Pekin Budak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teoman Esay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tarkan Turcan might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pekin Budak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tarkan Turcan ran back to his position shaking his head. Teoman Esay took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pekin Budak. Pekin Budak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 41st play minutes Teoman Esay shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Pekin Budak and just under the crossbar into goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tarkan Nadi to make the kick off. With his leg Pekin Budak managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Sürmene's Teoman Esay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bedir Önateş came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Yorgunsim's Tarkan Nadi. But to his dismay, Tarkan Nadi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Pekin Budak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Selami İltekin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 65 minute of play. After 73 played minutes Yorgunsim got a freekick which was hit by Baran Alp Müşfik. When Ali Kürşat Yazargil fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yorgunsim's protests and gave Ali Kürşat Yazargil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Ali Kürşat Yazargil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teoman Esay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pekin Budak having to make a save. After 83 minutes of play, Sürmene's Selami İltekin made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pekin Budak was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Egemen Özil in the 87th minute of play forced Sürmene's goalkeeper Bedir Önateş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baran Alp Müşfik charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baran Alp Müşfik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Baran Alp Müşfik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
