The crowd rose to their feet as İstanbul Futbol Kulübü's Anselmo Burgnich slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Ziya Ülgen. That made the score 3-0 after 26 minutes of play. 29 minutes into the match, Anselmo Burgnich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Ziya Ülgen. Geyikspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Burgnich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Vinicio Millan's late challenge caught a Geyikspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Millan helped the player get up and apologised. Vinicio Millan hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. İstanbul Futbol Kulübü's attentive Utkan Önateş managed to snatch the ball when Emirşah Kayrahan made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Geyikspor's Ahmet Ziya Ülgen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Geyikspor from getting a goal against them. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. İstanbul Futbol Kulübü fully deserved thier win.
