The referee ignored Cubuk SK's protests and gave Durmuş Müftüoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cubuk SK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Durmuş Müftüoğlu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eşref Vahapoğlu in the 19th minute of play forced Cubuk SK's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Baytüzün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
