Büyük Vakıf Spor61's Saul Baumer got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Geyikspor's goal looked a bit too open when Eşref Vahapoğlu came free, but Ahmet Ziya Ülgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Geyikspor got a freekick which was hit by Ali Atıf İnanöz. In the 15th minute Eşref Vahapoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ziya Ülgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Orhan Seyfi Togan sped through Geyikspor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmet Ziya Ülgen. In the 25th minute Orhan Seyfi Togan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ziya Ülgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eşref Vahapoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Geyikspor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eşref Vahapoğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time Büyük Vakıf Spor61's players had a chance to rest. 30 minutes into the match, Saul Baumer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Ziya Ülgen. Geyikspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saul Baumer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Orhan Seyfi Togan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Ziya Ülgen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eşref Vahapoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eşref Vahapoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute, Eşref Vahapoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

If Orhan Seyfi Togan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Geyikspor's Ahmet Ziya Ülgen got control of the ball when Eşref Vahapoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Büyük Vakıf Spor61's Orhan Seyfi Togan. But to his dismay, Orhan Seyfi Togan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhan Seyfi Togan in the 61st minute of play. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orhan Seyfi Togan went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orhan Seyfi Togan's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes, Orhan Seyfi Togan made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Geyikspor's Ahmet Ziya Ülgen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Orhan Seyfi Togan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Ahmet Ziya Ülgen 69 minutes into the match. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orhan Seyfi Togan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Büyük Vakıf Spor61 booed when Geyikspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tahsin Şevki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eşref Vahapoğlu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen came out and tried to block the shot, but Eşref Vahapoğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 75th minute. Orhan Seyfi Togan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Ziya Ülgen having to interfere. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eşref Vahapoğlu in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orhan Seyfi Togan in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Ziya Ülgen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emirşah Kayrahan charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emirşah Kayrahan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Emirşah Kayrahan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıfkı Nasih in the 88th minute of play forced Büyük Vakıf Spor61's goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Geyikspor's goalkeeper Ahmet Ziya Ülgen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eşref Vahapoğlu in the 92nd minute. Eşref Vahapoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Geyikspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Büyük Vakıf Spor61 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
