In the 2nd match minute, GENC KARTAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aybar Onursoy to maneuver through the defense. When Geyikspor's Rıfkı Nasih in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GENC KARTAL's goalie prevented a goal. Ercan Cansoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GENC KARTAL's Ercan Cansoy got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as GENC KARTAL's Aybar Onursoy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Ziya Ülgen. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. 35 minutes into the match, Rıfkı Nasih notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of GENC KARTAL's Özalp Cansefa. Özalp Cansefa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute Cevahir Devlet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ziya Ülgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özalp Cansefa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rıfkı Nasih's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ercan Cansoy made a kick off. Aybar Onursoy took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Ziya Ülgen. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ercan Cansoy went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Yahya Vechi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özalp Cansefa having to interfere. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind GENC KARTAL's goalkeeper Özalp Cansefa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th minute Ercan Cansoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ziya Ülgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aybar Onursoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Ali Atıf İnanöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GENC KARTAL's Ercan Cansoy got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berk Hiçsönmez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Özalp Cansefa having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GENC KARTAL fans cheered their team off the field, for while Geyikspor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
