The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aydos Spor A.Ş's Ahmet Kadri Zihni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Botello Pinto in the 3rd minute of play. Botello Pinto struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Ahmet Kadri Zihni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ERZURUMSPOR. Ersin Ergenç kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Botello Pinto sped through Aydos Spor A.Ş's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmet Kadri Zihni. After a defensive mix-up in Aydos Spor A.Ş's zone, Botello Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Kadri Zihni came out of the goal and Botello Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, ERZURUMSPOR's Durmuş İldeniz got control of the ball when Ersin Ergenç tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 minutes, Mehmet Edip Akansel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ERZURUMSPOR and the Aydos Spor A.Ş players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Aydos Spor A.Ş booed when ERZURUMSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Edip Akansel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Yunus Ganim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Durmuş İldeniz. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Aydos Spor A.Ş's goal looked a bit too open when Botello Pinto came free, but Ahmet Kadri Zihni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Atay Muzaffer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aydos Spor A.Ş and the ERZURUMSPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Aydos Spor A.Ş got a freekick which was hit by Atay Muzaffer. A collision led to ERZURUMSPOR getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Vehdi Ülke hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Aydos Spor A.Ş got a freekick which was hit by Yunus Ganim.

The wind increased when Botello Pinto made the kick off in the second half. Botello Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Kadri Zihni having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Botello Pinto in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Kadri Zihni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Kadri Zihni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Botello Pinto in the 61st minute of play. Botello Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Kadri Zihni having to interfere. Durmuş İldeniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yunus Ganim in the 73rd minute of play. The attack was good, but when Botello Pinto in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Yunus Ganim kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Aydos Spor A.Ş's Azmi Balaban was substituted for Atay Muzaffer. After 78 played minutes Aydos Spor A.Ş got a freekick which was hit by Yunus Ganim. Kubilay Avşar kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ERZURUMSPOR defense, Azmi Balaban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Durmuş İldeniz. The ERZURUMSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Durmuş İldeniz should have stopped the shot. Aydos Spor A.Ş's Hızır Has was substituted for Arda Baybars Safir. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aydos Spor A.Ş had won after a very even match.
