Vinicio Millan's late challenge caught a Cubuk SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Millan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute Refik Halit Cansefa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ion Alungulesei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When İsmail Hakkı Malgır came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the İstanbul Futbol Kulübü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İsmail Hakkı Malgır couldn't finish the play. The İstanbul Futbol Kulübü fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when İstanbul Futbol Kulübü's İsmail Hakkı Malgır looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. İsmail Hakkı Malgır took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdulkadir Baytüzün. Abdulkadir Baytüzün dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 92nd minute of the match Mehmet Hakkı Çağan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ion Alungulesei skillfully saved the ball. In the 95th minute, Anselmo Burgnich ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdulkadir Baytüzün was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. When the match was over İstanbul Futbol Kulübü could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cubuk SK throughout the match.
