Çatak's Metehan Başkur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıfkı Nasih in the 26th minute of play. Geyikspor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rıfkı Nasih in the 27th minute. After 52 minutes, Yunus Bal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Çatak and the Geyikspor players grew even worse after the yellow card.
