The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ANTALYASPOR's Mehmet Fatih Arıkan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Boğaçhan Safir in the 3 minute of the game. After 4th play minutes Saffet Müjdat shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Reha Eraslan and just under the crossbar into goal. Reha Eraslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Bedri Perkel in the 10th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Mehmet Bedri Perkel in the 10th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Saffet Müjdat scored 0-3 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reha Eraslan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Mehmet Bedri Perkel notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Bize Heryer Trabzon's Reha Eraslan. Reha Eraslan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mehmet Bedri Perkel took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reha Eraslan. Reha Eraslan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 25 minutes into the game, Saffet Müjdat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Reha Eraslan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Bize Heryer Trabzon getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Kıvanç Belen hit a great ball. Reha Eraslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saffet Müjdat in the 30th minute of the match. If Mehmet Bedri Perkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bize Heryer Trabzon's Reha Eraslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saffet Müjdat in the 34th minute of play. If Saffet Müjdat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, ANTALYASPOR's Gazi Fırat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reha Eraslan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mehmet Bedri Perkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reha Eraslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gazi Fırat in the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karadeniz İrem to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Saffet Müjdat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reha Eraslan. That made the score 0-7 in the 52 minute of play. ANTALYASPOR's Saffet Müjdat was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Reha Eraslan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Garip Nevsal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Reha Eraslan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Bize Heryer Trabzon's Boğaçhan Safir got a free kick in the 57th minute. Saffet Müjdats short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Reha Eraslan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Bize Heryer Trabzon's zone, Mehmet Bedri Perkel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reha Eraslan came out of the goal and Mehmet Bedri Perkel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saffet Müjdat scored 0-8 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reha Eraslan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Özmen Uzkan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Saffet Müjdats short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Reha Eraslan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Saffet Müjdat put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Reha Eraslan. ANTALYASPOR made a substitution. Neşat Kiner replaced Bülent Polatkan. ANTALYASPOR's Sabahattin Onurhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karadeniz İrem in the 83rd minute of play. If Saffet Müjdat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Bedri Perkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Bedri Perkel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reha Eraslan having to make a save. Saffet Müjdat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Reha Eraslan made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saffet Müjdat got free with Reha Eraslan in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over ANTALYASPOR could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bize Heryer Trabzon throughout the match.
