Rasim Yüce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Högberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the İslam republic fc defense, Baltazar Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rasim Yüce. The İslam republic fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rasim Yüce should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Gafur Salim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbyszko Okraszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet İlke Trabzonlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th play minute Nuno Fernandes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zbyszko Okraszewski. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltazar Moreira to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Högberg in the 79th minute of play forced İslam republic fc's goalkeeper Rasim Yüce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikail Taykara hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes SOMA-Anadolu Ateşi got a freekick which was hit by Berkem Ilıca. After 97 minutes of play, İslam republic fc's Folke Fors made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbyszko Okraszewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
