Ofspor's Lütfi Kutlubay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zekeriya Eldem in the 3rd minute of play. Akay Tanyıldız fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lütfi Kutlubay having to interfere. In the 32nd minute of the match, Incendio Weidt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Öztürk Cambaz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 34th minute Zekeriya Eldem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfi Kutlubay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mahir Şahdar came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Efelerspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mahir Şahdar couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Ofspor's Lütfi Kutlubay got control of the ball when Zekeriya Eldem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Öztürk Cambaz came out of the goal and Incendio Weidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Efelerspor defense, Incendio Weidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Öztürk Cambaz. The Efelerspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Öztürk Cambaz should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute Incendio Weidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Öztürk Cambaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Incendio Weidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Öztürk Cambaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ofspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Efelerspor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
