In the 7th minute, Necmi Mutlu made a precise shot to the right of Afşar Rıfat. Black Stockings FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Afşar Rıfat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batur Oğuzata, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Kutlay Hamurcu could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Saffet Gümüşsoy however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kutlay Hamurcu got free with Saffet Gümüşsoy in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Saffet Gümüşsoy throw himself and got hold of the ball when Enginalp Muhsin in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 20th minute Black Stockings FC were awarded a corner. Şansal Üstek went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Şansal Üstek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saffet Gümüşsoy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Saffet Gümüşsoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kutlay Hamurcu in the 21st minute. Afşar Rıfat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batur Oğuzata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Enginalp Muhsin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saffet Gümüşsoy. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. Saffet Gümüşsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Indar in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, single star's Saffet Gümüşsoy got control of the ball when Kutlay Hamurcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enginalp Muhsin in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saffet Gümüşsoy saved single star from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Kutlay Hamurcu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Stockings FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kutlay Hamurcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saffet Gümüşsoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Batur Oğuzata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afşar Rıfat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sancar İklim charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sancar İklim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Sancar İklim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
