Ofspor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cabbar Mazlum in the 11th minute. The supporters of Sakaryaspor booed when Ofspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzcan Başel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Ofspor's Selman Özinal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thanos Saatsakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sakaryaspor's Thanos Saatsakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Sakaryaspor from getting a goal against them. If Incendio Weidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Vaagen struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. In the 36th minute Çeliker Dölek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfi Kutlubay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes Ofspor got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Paciuszko. Ofspor were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Sakaryaspor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cabbar Mazlum took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ofspor's corner Cabbar Mazlum fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thanos Saatsakis quite easily take care of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Incendio Weidt was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Sakaryaspor getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Gabriel Vaagen hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sakaryaspor's Çeliker Dölek got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Incendio Weidt in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thanos Saatsakis saved Sakaryaspor from getting behind. When Ofspor's Incendio Weidt in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 73 played minutes Ofspor got a freekick which was hit by Emre Can. Thanos Saatsakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Incendio Weidt went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ofspor's Lütfi Kutlubay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Ofspor from getting a goal against them.
