Zekeriya Eldem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ made a huge save. Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zekeriya Eldem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. H E P T A N's Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Hondo in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Efelerspor defense, Ali Orhan Yalvaç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Öztürk Cambaz. The Efelerspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Öztürk Cambaz should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Latif Uğurtay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. H E P T A N's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Efelerspor the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zekeriya Eldem got free with Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahir Şahdar, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Efelerspor's Mahir Şahdar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ. That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. Efelerspor's Öztürk Cambaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Orhan Yalvaç in the 35th minute of play. Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Mahir Şahdar sent off a good shot on target. In the 39thth minute of the game Ali Orhan Yalvaç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Efelerspor's Öztürk Cambaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute of the match H E P T A N got a corner. Efelerspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aytuğ Nezihi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Aytuğ Nezihi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Öztürk Cambaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Öztürk Cambaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Orhan Yalvaç's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akay Tanyıldız in the 44th minute of play forced H E P T A N's goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes H E P T A N got a freekick which was hit by Atacan Tuncay. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Orhan Yalvaç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Orhan Yalvaç in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 56th minute, H E P T A N's Ali Orhan Yalvaç dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Okanay Mutluer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Öztürk Cambaz. That made the score 1-3 in the 61 minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, H E P T A N's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Hondo came free, but Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Mikel Dueñas in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by H E P T A N's Latif Uğurtay. Öztürk Cambaz made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Okanay Mutluer sent off a good shot on target. Öztürk Cambaz was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Okanay Mutluer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Okanay Mutluer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. With an all-out effort, H E P T A N's Öztürk Cambaz threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ali Orhan Yalvaç, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Efelerspor's goalkeeper Öztürk Cambaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Efelerspor manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing H E P T A N to win.
