Aslan Hagi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Higinio Osasun in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Franco Armani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 9th minute Fenerbahce ISTANBUL were awarded a corner. Norbert Kosowski went to the cornerflag to take it. Aurelio Piretti was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 12th minute of the match, Norbert Kosowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franco Armani saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Franco Armani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Norbert Kosowski in the 20th minute. The corner led Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Florian De Werdt to fire away a dangerous shot which Franco Armani despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Osasun in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Armani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Higinio Osasun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franco Armani having to make a save. With a little luck, Basmane Texas's Franco Armani got control of the ball when Higinio Osasun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Kosowski in the 25th minute of the match. Feridun Elmacı kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Norbert Kosowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Edip Nazmi came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel. But to his dismay, Gürsel Aksel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Kosowski came free, but Franco Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Norbert Kosowski made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Basmane Texas's Franco Armani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Higinio Osasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basmane Texas's Franco Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Basmane Texas from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Higinio Osasun to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Higinio Osasun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Osasun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Basmane Texas's Ramiz Dayı got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Mehmet Edip Nazmi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gürsel Aksel's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Higinio Osasun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Mehmet Edip Nazmi got control of the ball when Gürsel Aksel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gürsel Aksel took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Edip Nazmi. Mehmet Edip Nazmi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norbert Kosowski in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of Basmane Texas booed when Fenerbahce ISTANBUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tansu İnanoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's goalkeeper Mehmet Edip Nazmi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gürsel Aksel. If Gürsel Aksel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Higinio Osasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basmane Texas's Franco Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Osasun in the 92nd minute of play. Franco Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian De Werdt in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Florian De Werdt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Armani was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
