Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) Calcuta Athletic Rangers's Dharanija Padda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Calcuta Athletic Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Jyotin Ghoshal. After having played for 4 minutes, Çağdaş Ronaldinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castletown City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çağdaş Ronaldinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Çağdaş Ronaldinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 6 minutes into the match, Calcuta Athletic Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Çağdaş Ronaldinho came free, but Anupriya Varma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kapilan Khahera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Serafini having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Çağdaş Ronaldinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anupriya Varma was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Castletown City's goal looked a bit too open when Kapilan Khahera came free, but Ferdinando Serafini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anupriya Varma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çağdaş Ronaldinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Çağdaş Ronaldinho in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anupriya Varma saved Calcuta Athletic Rangers from getting behind. Anupriya Varma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çağdaş Ronaldinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Dharanija Padda came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ferdinando Serafini could save by the left post. Agnibahu Saxena charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agnibahu Saxena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Castletown City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agnibahu Saxena to maneuver through the defense. Alakaprabha Khaira kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Calcuta Athletic Rangers booed when Castletown City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hardev Chattha didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kapilan Khahera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinando Serafini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kapilan Khahera, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Anjasa Bhuppal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kapilan Khahera scored 1-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinando Serafini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Castletown City booed when Calcuta Athletic Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bhudeva Maude didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calcuta Athletic Rangers's Anupriya Varma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anjasa Bhuppal in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Çağdaş Ronaldinho made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Anjasa Bhuppal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castletown City's supporters rose to their feet, but Anjasa Bhuppal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anupriya Varma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kapilan Khahera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Çağdaş Ronaldinho had several of the Calcuta Athletic Rangers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Anupriya Varma as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Kapilan Khahera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calcuta Athletic Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Kapilan Khahera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinando Serafini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agnibahu Saxena kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Çağdaş Ronaldinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anupriya Varma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Ferdinando Serafini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dharanija Padda, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Ferdinando Serafini came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Calcuta Athletic Rangers's Dharanija Padda. But to his dismay, Dharanija Padda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Attilio Vettori got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
