Spectators: 9222 (Terracing: 6918, Seating: 2121, VIP seats: 183) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ed Mckinley made the kick off which started today's match. Marcus Roach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carman Tinsley having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Amputees FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Kinell came free, but Carsyn Orourke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carman Tinsley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Roach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ed Mckinley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carsyn Orourke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Bianu in the 27th minute of play. Carsyn Orourke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Bianu in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Jan-Olof Kinell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Darwin Saville FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Amputees FC defense, Gigel Bianu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carsyn Orourke. The Amputees FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carsyn Orourke should have stopped the shot. After having played for 39 minutes, Berke Crampton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amputees FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berke Crampton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauder Franklin to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Darwin Saville FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gigel Bianu made the kick off in the second half. Darwin Saville FC's Carman Tinsley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauder Franklin in the 53rd minute of play. Carsyn Orourke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brandon Barker in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Olof Kinell got free with Carsyn Orourke in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute Marcus Roach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Tinsley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandon Barker kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berne Royans during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carman Tinsley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Roach, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Brandon Barker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carsyn Orourke. That made the score 0-3 in the 89 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Darwin Saville FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
