If Carlisle Fenwick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Paco Everett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BES MUDI BANDITS's Einar Heiberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amos Kayrooz's late challenge caught a Boroondara Milan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amos Kayrooz helped the player get up and apologised. Amos Kayrooz kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Einar Heiberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paco Everett's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. BES MUDI BANDITS's Einar Heiberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlisle Fenwick in the 40th minute of play. Amos Kayrooz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Einar Heiberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlisle Fenwick in the 44th minute. When Amos Kayrooz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Neil Weatherby made the kick off in the second half. Carlisle Fenwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arty Shearn in the 64th minute of play forced BES MUDI BANDITS's goalkeeper Einar Heiberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmonds Askew's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martyon Diehl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Corey Rhoades kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Paco Everett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boroondara Milan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
