Spectators: 9228 (Terracing: 6922, Seating: 2123, VIP seats: 183) Perth Glory's Jaffery Hayward played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlisle Fenwick in the 5th minute of play. In the 7thth minute of the game Carlisle Fenwick who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perth Glory's Jaffery Hayward was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 9 played minutes Perth Glory got a freekick which was hit by Barnabas Clinton. 12 minutes into the game, Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaffery Hayward made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Perth Glory's Barnabas Clinton got a free kick in the 15th minute. Carlisle Fenwick scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaffery Hayward, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute Carlisle Fenwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaffery Hayward saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaffery Hayward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlisle Fenwick in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Carlisle Fenwick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boroondara Milan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Jaffery Hayward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paco Everett in the 32nd minute of the match. Carlisle Fenwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaffery Hayward didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlisle Fenwick went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Jaffery Hayward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlisle Fenwick in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Perth Glory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnabas Clinton to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jamie Minter to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Perth Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Carlisle Fenwick came free, but Jaffery Hayward reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaffery Hayward stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paco Everett's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Perth Glory's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Paco Everett scored to the left of an out of position Jaffery Hayward, making the score, 0-7. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Carlisle Fenwick took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Jaffery Hayward to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Boroondara Milan's Andres Stevens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jaffery Hayward. That made the score 0-9 after 70 minutes of play. Jaffery Hayward was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Carlisle Fenwick capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlisle Fenwick really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Carlisle Fenwick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Jaffery Hayward made a huge save. Carlisle Fenwick had several of the Perth Glory's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-12 score and a disappointed Jaffery Hayward as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Pearse in the 90th minute of play forced Perth Glory's goalkeeper Jaffery Hayward to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kris Pearse succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-13 in the 90th playminute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlisle Fenwick in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaffery Hayward prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
