BES MUDI BANDITS's Ariel Bingen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save BES MUDI BANDITS from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute Jamie Minter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Bingen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, BES MUDI BANDITS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rusty Vaisey to maneuver through the defense. Howie Merz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ariel Bingen. BES MUDI BANDITS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. BES MUDI BANDITS's Ariel Bingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamie Minter in the 24th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Neil Weatherby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, BES MUDI BANDITS's goal looked a bit too open when Jamie Minter came free, but Ariel Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Perth Glory's zone, Corey Rhoades stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barnabas Clinton came out of the goal and Corey Rhoades tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jamie Minter to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamie Minter in the 52nd minute of play forced BES MUDI BANDITS's goalkeeper Ariel Bingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Orvad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cregan Zalunardo's late challenge caught a Perth Glory's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cregan Zalunardo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, BES MUDI BANDITS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cregan Zalunardo to maneuver through the defense. If Jamie Minter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmonds Askew got free with Barnabas Clinton in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
