Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Laerte Lucas kicked off to start the match. Aílton Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandão Recife in the 7th minute of play forced Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Aílton Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandão Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Norberto Tande hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Montevideo's zone, Luís Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Medeiros came out of the goal and Luís Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute Gilberto Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Sousa in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldo Medeiros saved Montevideo from getting behind. David Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ronaldo Medeiros made a huge save. Olavo Matorin took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aílton Fernandez. Aílton Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 39 minutes into the game, Luís Romero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ronaldo Medeiros. Luís Romero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Ronaldo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Sousa in the 41st minute of play. Michel De Bruyne's late challenge caught a Montevideo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel De Bruyne helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Agro Imortal's Michel De Bruyne got a free kick in the 44th minute. Wilson Fernandez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aílton Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandão Recife in the 46th minute of play. Montevideo were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Agro Imortal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilson Fernandez took the corner. Montevideo's Fernandão Recife was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aílton Fernandez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half Montevideo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Norberto Tande made in the 52nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bray McJon however managed to control. After 53 played minutes Agro Imortal got a freekick which was hit by Michel De Bruyne. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Romero in the 55th minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Ronaldo Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Pereira hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Lucas came free, but Aílton Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Luís Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agro Imortal's Aílton Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão Recife in the 70th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Wilson Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when David Pereira came free, but Ronaldo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aílton Fernandez was a little too slow when Olavo Matorin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-4. Agro Imortal's Aílton Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Matorin in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Montevideo's Olavo Matorin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aílton Fernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. After some careless play in the Montevideo defense, Jere Mitovski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldo Medeiros. The Montevideo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldo Medeiros should have stopped the shot. Montevideo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
