Ermegildo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorbjörn Olerius in the 4th minute of play. Papo Ponga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Patrick Armstrong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Asturcones d´la Abadía got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Tormes. Veremundo Lastras kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Alejandro Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Patrick Armstrong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Filomeno Tormes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patrick Armstrong. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. If Filomeno Tormes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Papo Ponga in the 21st minute of play forced ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper Patrick Armstrong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ManagerZone Crew booed when Asturcones d´la Abadía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Asturcones d´la Abadía's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Linkhorst came free, but Ermegildo Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Linkhorst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Papo Ponga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Armstrong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrick Armstrong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Papo Ponga in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Papo Ponga to strike the kick off in the second half. Thorbjörn Olerius kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Veremundo Lastras managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marcus Majewski in the 54 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Papo Ponga in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Armstrong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermegildo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Våleman, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Tormes came free, but Patrick Armstrong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Våleman in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermegildo Delgado saved Asturcones d´la Abadía from getting behind. Xurdin Candamo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurxo Lagunas was substituted for Filomeno Tormes. ManagerZone Crew's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Majewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Asturcones d´la Abadía getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Papo Ponga hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Robert Ununger managed to get in a good position for a shot. ManagerZone Crew's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Ununger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Ermegildo Delgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Asturcones d´la Abadía from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurxo Lagunas got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 80 played minutes ManagerZone Crew got a freekick which was hit by Thorbjörn Olerius. 82 minutes into the game, Papo Ponga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Patrick Armstrong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Asturcones d´la Abadía's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Peter Linkhorst scored to the left of an out of position Ermegildo Delgado, making the score, 5-1. After recieving a nice pass, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Bernardo Molina tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Asturcones d´la Abadía's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
