Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Roman Muravev made the kick off and thus started the match. With a little luck, Kazakhstan's Innokentiy Blyakhin got control of the ball when Yahya Omrani tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Kazakhstan's goal looked a bit too open when Yahya Omrani came free, but Innokentiy Blyakhin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes, Aleksandr Soldatenkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kazakhstan and the Iran players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute Mansoor samsami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Innokentiy Blyakhin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th play minute Mansoor samsami came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Innokentiy Blyakhin. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yahya Omrani made a kick off. Parham Talaei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasiliy Yakovlev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Kazakhstan defense, Yahya Omrani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Innokentiy Blyakhin. The Kazakhstan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Innokentiy Blyakhin should have stopped the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Yahya Omrani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Innokentiy Blyakhin. Kazakhstan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yahya Omrani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Kazakhstan's Innokentiy Blyakhin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yahya Omrani in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 minutes Kazakhstan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amin Haghi who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Iran's corner Amin Haghi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Innokentiy Blyakhin quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esfandiar Kavianpour in the 64th minute of play forced Kazakhstan's goalkeeper Innokentiy Blyakhin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Iran got a corner. Kazakhstan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amin Haghi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Mansoor samsami heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kazakhstan's goalkeeper Innokentiy Blyakhin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Innokentiy Blyakhin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yahya Omrani's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute Yahya Omrani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Innokentiy Blyakhin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Innokentiy Blyakhin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yahya Omrani, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The supporters of Iran booed when Kazakhstan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolay Loginov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Yahya Omrani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Mansoor samsami managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iran's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mansoor samsami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Innokentiy Blyakhin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yahya Omrani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iran's Amin Haghi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Innokentiy Blyakhin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Iran's Mansoor samsami got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Iran fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kazakhstan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
